The new release of IBM Sterling B2B integrator v6.2.0.0 is now available for download. Users of v6.1x will be able to take advantage of rolling upgrades to v6.2.
New features in IBM Sterling v6.2 include:
- High-availability enhancements, improving application recovery time with database failover.
- Certified container enhancements including support for Object Store as an option for document payloads using Document Service, support for ITX and ITXA container integration, support for setting up Command Line Adapter 2(CLA2) plus support for re-branding of Sterling File Gateway, myFileGateway, and myFileGateway2.0 user interface using customization UI.
IBM Sterling B2B Integrator v6.2 also includes:
- Support for Adapters and Services to send and receive documents from Azure Blob Storage
- Ability to connect to Kafka Message Broker and integrate Kafka Queue Watcher
- Support for Entrust nCipher HSM device with FIPS 140-2 Level 2 using native nCipher providers for versions 12.4 and above.
- Ability to invoke business processes using REST API (Business Process as a Service). See IBM’s page on BPaaS for more information.
- Support for Microsoft SQL Server database services on Azure and establishing a secure connection with Microsoft SQL Server and DB2. See the release notes for more information.
Upgraded JDK
The Java Development Kit (JDK) version for this release has been upgraded to IBM JDK 8.0.7.20 ifix-20230425_01(SR7 FP20+IJ45182+IJ45659+IJ46192).
